Installing FlexSqueeze WordPress Theme

  1. Under the “Appearance” Section in WordPress administration, click on “Add New Themes” link
  2. Click on “upload” from the top menuClick on “Browse” and select the zip file “flexsqueeze.zip” as provided in dot project.Click on “Install Now”Activate the themeClick on “Install Now”Activate the theme
  3. Click on “Install Now”
  4. Activate the theme

* If you do not have a copy of the flexsqueeze theme, you can get it from Advantus Media – FlexSqueeze Theme

Configuring FlexSqueeze

In the “Appearance” Section on the right side of the WordPress Administration, click on “FlexSqueeze Theme Options”

Quick Change Settings

  1. Click on “Quick Change Settings”
  2. In the first option “Theme Color Changer” Click the “Click here” button, at the bottom of the pop-up box, type in the HEX number of the general them color that is provided in the Keyword worksheet. Alternatively use the color picker to choose your custom color.
  3. Click on “Save theme colors”
  4. Under the “Theme Lightness Selector” Choose “Light”, and then click “Save theme lightness”
  5. Under Theme Layout Changer select “960 pixels, dual sub sidebars”, then click on “Save theme layout”

Header

  1. If a Custom Header image has been provided, upload the image to the wp-content/themes/flexsqueeze/images/ folder using the built in “Upload Images” from the top menu, then enter the name of the uploaded file in the “Header custom image” box.
  2. If there is no custom header, choose one of the built in header background image from the drop down box.
  3. If a Blog Logo is provided, use the “Upload Images” again to upload the logo to the flexsqueeze imgaes folder. Then enter the name of the logo file in the “Blog logo” box
  4. Change the “Search box graphics” to “maglass.png”
  5. Change “Navigation position” to “below”
  6. Change “Navigation tab style” to “indent”
  7. Change “RSS icon image” to one that matches the color of the theme
  8. Change “Display subscribe by email” to “no”

Adsense settings

  1. If a Adsense publish ID has been provided, enter it in the “Adsense publish ID” Box
  2. Change any other settings as instructed for that particular site, otherwize leave the rest of the settings as is for now, and click “Save changes”

Analytics

  1. Enter the Google Anaytics id as provided on the Keyword worksheet. It looks like UA-XXXXXXX-XX
  2. Click “Save changes”
